Volunteering

The Family Centre is currently developing an exciting new volunteer program. We know our community has many skilled and experienced people who can help us to achieve our vision for "a fair, safe and vibrant community with access to opportunities for all children young people and families".

Our new program is looking for volunteers who share our vision and values and want to be a part of a trusted local organisation with a focus on creating strong connections with our community and driving progressive social change. Volunteers will be invited to participate in a range of activities that include: supporting our clients, community building, administration tasks, promoting our services and fundraising activities.

We are in the early stages of this project but if you are interested in joining our volunteer team in 2012 please click here Email The Family Centre and send us a brief note about how you can make a difference to our community. You will be contacted by us in February 2012 when application forms will be available. To stay in touch with Family Centre news you might also like to subscribe and recieve updates, interesting information and our newsletter Subscribe

All prospective volunteers will be required to undertake police checks and working with children checks.
