What is the Men and Family Relationships service?

The Men and Family Relationships Service works alongside men and assists them to manage relationship issues with partners, ex-partners and children. It supports men to enhance their relationships through learning more about themselves and the needs of their families.

Who is it for?

Men who live in the Tweed Shire and Lower Gold Coast region.

How do we support men and their families?

This service provides individual support for men through our men's consultations - face to face conversations that assist men to clarify and better understand issues they are facing. Consultations provide support, information and referral to suitable services and programs.

The service also provides a range of relationship education courses that aim to enhance parenting skills and general wellbeing.

We also run courses specifically for men who want to stop using controlling, abusive and violent behaviours.

Where

Men's consultations and courses are available at our South Tweed and Murwillumbah locations.

When

Men's consultations are by appointment. Men's courses are run regularly throughout the year. See our course program here for details.
